What goes up...

Following Welshpool’s marvellous Remembrance weekend, the town will follow it up next week with a poignant event.

The Flag Down Ceremony will take place outside the Tourist Information Centre at 12.30pm next Sunday, November 29.

A small procession will leave the Welshpool Town Council offices to the Tourist Information Centre, where the Royal British Legion will be presented with a cheque for the amount achieved during this year's poppy appeal.

Tea and coffee will be served at the Tourist Information Centre with all welcome to attend.

Residents are asked to note that the Welshpool Town Council booklet has the incorrect date of this happening today (Sunday 22^nd).
