‘Outstanding’ Macauley cadet of the year

The Montgomeryshire Branch of the Parachute Regimental Association presented their annual trophy to Cadet Macauley Nicholl-Davies.

 

In the opinion of Major P. Jones (ACF), Macauley proved to be the outstanding member of his platoon at training nights, weekends and competitions throughout 2010.

 

The trophy was presented by the Branch Welfare Officer Mr. C. Lloyd MBE (ex.3Para/AAC), and in the presence of Lt. Col. Evans the Deputy Commandant Powys ACF.

 

The ceremony was concluded with guest ex.-paras awarding Lance-Corporal stripes to Cadets R. Davies, T. Morris and J. Rowlands. Cadet Sgt. J. Davies was promoted to Colour Sergeant and it was announced that he has been appointed the Lord Lieutenant’s Cadet for Powys 2011.
