Well known Welshpool man dies

A well known Welshpool businessman has died in hospital following a long battle with ill health.

Jimmy Jarvis, who ran taxi company Yellow Cabs in the town for many years, died at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital in the early hours of Monday morning.

He had been a dialysis patient at the hospital for over three years and recently underwent a major heart by-pass operation.
