Town to hold community day

The Welshpool Neighbourhood Policing Team will hold a Community Safety Day in the Town Hall next week with an open invitation for all to attend.

Following the success of last year’s event (pictured), the Team will work with a number of agencies to provide crucial information to members of the public on May 10 between 10am-3pm.

Organisations including Kaleidoscope, Youth Service, Gwalia, Mid and West Wales Fire Service, Trading Standards and Ponthafren will be attending to show is available to the public.

“In addition to those agencies, officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be on hand so that individuals can share their concerns in relation to crime and anti-social behaviour,” said a police spokesperson.

“All are welcome to attend and there will be tea and coffee available.”
