Two local lads are launching their first album under their band name One Crow Sorrow today (Monday), with a series of gigs announced and a slot on Radio Wales.

Made up of Welshpool duo of Barry Williams and Tim Guttridge, One Crow Sorrow releases

'Something to Value' today after working together for the past two years.

“We began playing together whilst in high school in the late 1990s but have been active as a duo for the last two years,” said Barry.

“Our sound mixes guitar, ukulele, banjo and lap steel guitar, which create a sound that calls to mind a host of classic and contemporary country influences, whilst maintaining and celebrating our own 'small town' perspective.”

Coming up, the duo have gigs at the British Ironworks Centre in Oswestry (August 27) and at Zonfest in Arddleen (August 28). More shows will be announced soon.

They also featured on Adam Walton's Radio Wales show over the weekend.
