Welshpool Town seek new manager after Ingram quits

Welshpool Town are looking for a new manager after Terry Ingram quit the role last night – just three games into the new season.

With Pool having lost all three games without finding the net Ingram decided to step down, citing work commitments, forcing chairman Russell Cadwallader to retake control of team matters tonight for the Spar Mid Wales League game at Montgomery.

Pool have lost to Llandrindod, Llanrhaeadr and Llanidloes in the opening week of the season and after tonight’s game face a derby show-night clash at Berriew on Saturday. Berriew are now managed by former Town boss Dave Jones.

Ingramreturned to WElshpool, where he was last involved with under Huw Griffiths, before going on to coach Denbigh Town and Cefn Druids with whom he enjoyed a dalliance with European football.

Cadwallader said the search had already begun for a replacement with the former manager forced back into the dugout until a new boss can be found.

Anyone interested in the position should contact Russell Cadwallader at head@maesydre.powys.sch.uk
