Police are investigating a break-in at Welshpool Bowling Club and thefts from sheds in rural locations and need your help.

Information is being sought after a break in at Welshpool Bowling Club, Maesydre overnight of Wednesday. Nothing was taken but damage was caused to a door inside the property.

It is likely that an alarm activation at approximately 8.30pm has scared off intruders. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious is asked to contact Pc 777 Baines on 101.

A burglary of a shed took place at a farm on the outskirts of Llanfyllin, near Bodfach Hall, between August 24-30  when a Stihl Chainsaw and angle grinder were stolen along with a Makita cordless drill set and Husqvarna Pole saw. Please contact PC 916 Beaman with any information on 101.

A property in a rural location on the Long Mountain was broken into overnight on Tuesday  when a number of power tools were stolen including a Makita Chop Saw, Compressor, Bostitch Nail gun, a Bosch power drill and a quantity of lead.

Anybody who has seen suspicious people in the area of Long Mountain are asked to contact Pc 777 Baines on 101.
