New Welshpool Town Manager Luke Ogilvie will know just how big a task he faces this season when Carno come to town tonight.

Ogilvie watched his new charges beat Borth 3-1 in the Welsh Cup last week but will know to expect a bigger test tonight with Carno looking to close the gap at the top of the Spar Mid Wales League and Pool sitting next to bottom.

Ogilvie has appointed Craig Edwards and Simon Walker as his joint assistants but knows he needs to strengthen his squad if he is to achieve his aim of mid-table consolidation this term.

Danny Barton has read the riot act at Guilsfield after losing 3-2 to Llanfair in midweek and has demanded a better performance against Penrhyncoch in the Huws Gray Alliance.

Llanfair boss Rhys Stephens will be calling for another good performance from his side with Buckley at The Mount Field.
