Oldford planning huge party!

Oldford Communities First is holding a free celebration of all things cultural next month with an open invitation to the area to attend.

 

The event will be held on February 26 at Welshpool Town Hall, from 11am-4pm when nationalities and cultures from across the globe will be celebrated.

 

Visitors will be able to join in with lots of activities for people of all ages and abilities. There will be workshops and performances in hip hop dance, Indian dance, Celtic dance and African drumming. Visitors can also try their hands at crafts, origami, African block painting, Aboriginal painting and Henna body artwork. There will also be foods to sample from across the world as well as exhibitions of artefacts and Romany storytelling.
