Attempted daytime burglary

An attempted break-in took place in Four Crosses last week, prompting police to issue an appeal for the driver of a blue Ford Focus to come forward or be identified.

The incident happened between 1.30pm and 2.50pm on September 14 but police have waited until now to make a public appeal.

“A Blue Ford Focus displaying a 16 plate registration was seen in the area at that time. If anyone witnessed this vehicle or any persons acting suspiciously in the area, they are asked to contact PC 129 Sweetman at Welshpool Police Station on 101,” said a police statement.
