Now a crash means diversion chaos for drivers

Motorists are facing Saturday evening roads chaos after an accident on the Llandrinio road halted diverted traffic.

With the Welshpool -Shrewsbury Road closed by the farm fire at Buttington, traffic was being diverted via Llandrinio but an accident has brought down live electricity wires opposite the Llandrinio Garage with Dyfed Powys Police forced to close the road.

Motorists are now faced with lengthy diversions via Llyncys and Oswestry to reach Shrewsbury.
