Police are still offering a £5k reward for information on a Welshpool robbery attempt before Christmas.
Dyfed-Powys Police are continuing to investigate an attempted robbery at The County Goldsmiths in Welshpool.
The incident occurred just before 5pm on Wednesday, December 1, when three masked men entered the Goldsmiths in Welshpool Town centre.
They confronted the owner and sprayed him with some kind of in-capacitant. However, the owner of the premises was able to fight off the attackers and it is likely that one of the men received bruising or cuts to his face or head area.
The attackers fled empty handed. All three men were dressed in black clothing with some form of hood or scarf over their faces,
Police have carried out searches in the surrounding streets and have been visiting local residents in a search for further information.
Dyfed-Powys Police is offering a reward of £5,000 to any person giving information to the police leading to the arrest and conviction of the offenders.
If you have information, police encourage you to contact Welshpool CID on 101.
