Dyfed Powys Police have launched appeals for information after a spate of incidents in the Welshpool area.

Welshpool Police are appealing for information in relation to a theft of some Dewalt tools, believed to have occurred on April 17 but was only discovered on April 24 in the Gungrog Hill area of Welshpool from an unlocked van. Two torches and a laser level were taken.

Anyone who saw anything or has been offered similar tools for sale in the last 7-10 days should contact Welshpool Police or crime stoppers. Van owners are asked to ensure vehicles are locked at all times.

Welshpool Police are investigating an attempted burglary in the Four Crosses area during the early hours of Saturday April 22. The perpetrators smashed the window of a porch door and removed concrete blocks from the wall of a garage in an attempt to gain entry. They have also forced open the door of vehicle at the property.

At around 4pm on Saturday April 22 a red Mini was damaged in Tesco Car Park, Welshpool.

Welshpool Police are appealing for information in relation to some criminal damage caused to a wing mirror of a vehicle parked on Gungrog Road caused sometime overnight on 26/27th. Anyone who has information or witnessed the incident should contact Welshpool Police on 101.
