Traffic lights in the centre of Welshpool are still out of action despite attempts by electrical engineers to solve the problem.
The lights on The Cross have been out of action since a lunchtime power cut for some town centre businesses and despite moves by Powys County Council the promblem has not been resolved.
The council has advised motorists to use caution at The Cross but ironically traffic has been flowing clearly through the town centre without any reported hold-ups. Warning signs have been erected.
