If you are having trouble with your sight or hearing, or know someone who does, the Welshpool & District Visual Impairment Club is hosting a coffee morning and Sensory Loss Exhibition on October 6 at the Corn Exchange in the Town Hall.

From 9.30am-12pm, all are welcome to attend this free event where there will be the newly designed 'Orcam' print reading talking glasses and various electronic magnifiers from Optelec company on display.

National charities including Blind War Veterans, Royal National Institute for the Blind, Action on Hearing Loss and Wales Council for the Deaf will be on hand to offer advice on national services for people of all ages with a sensory loss.

Powys County Council Sensory Service, Mid Wales Fire Service Guide Dogs and Disability Powys will be on hand to offer advice about local services for people with a sight and hearing loss. Refreshments are available for a small charge.
