Welshpool elections on Thursday

Over 4,000 Welshpool residents will be eligible to vote this Thursday for elections that will fill three vacant seats on the town council.

Welshpool Town Hall will be open from 7am-10pm for residents who live in the Llanerchyddol Ward, while the former Gungrog School site will be open the same time for voters in the Gungrog Ward.

With big town decisions approaching concerning us all, it has never been a more important time to make your vote count.

Welsh Labour has entered candidates in both elections while the Liberal Democrats have one running in the Llanerchyddol Ward. The rest of the candidates are declared Independent or haven’t disclosed their political colours.
