Fireworks season underway Thursday

The official fireworks season gets underway tomorrow (Thursday) when COBRA Rugby Club host Meifod’s annual display at 6.30pm.

Gates will open at 5.30pm, an hour before the bonfire and spectacular display are lit.

There will be a wide variety of hot food, snacks, confectionary and drinks available with admission £5 for adults and £3 for under 16s. Family tickets (two adults and two children) are £15. 

Free parking is also available, just follow the signs and directions from the stewards.

Welshpool’s big free show is on Saturday night at Maesydre, with Guilsfield’s taking place on Sunday evening at the Scout Hut.
