Xmas appeal for kids toys

Local residents are being asked to support an appeal by a local supermarket to collect new toys for children who will be visiting hospital over Christmas.

The appeal is being spearheaded by Morrisons who are supporting the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital’s A&E department this Festive Period.

“We are appealing for new toy donations for the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital A&E department,” said community champion, Nicki McNamee. “The new toys will be for children who unfortunately are brought into the emergency department over the week of Christmas.

“This would bring a small smile to a poorly child and worried parents/carer.”
