A Christmas carol concert organised by members of RABI’s Montgomeryshire committee at Welshpool Livestock Market generated £1,220 for the farming charity.
The evening was opened by Rev Jon Price and compere David Oliver kept things flowing throughout the night.
The singing postman, Mark ‘Titch’ Jones, delivered right on schedule, while there were also strong performances from the Llanbadarn Fynydd Girls and students from Welshpool High School.
The students performed a selection of pieces as a band and as a choir and also accompanied the community carols. Male voice party Cut Lloi rounded off the concert.
