Lorry driver cut free after accident

A driver was cut free from his cab after the lorry he was driving left the road and tipped on its side this morning.

Thankfully the driver only suffered minor injuries, and the authorities are working to safely salvage the lorry near Castle Caereinion.

“Two fire appliances from Welshpool and one from Montgomery were mobilised at 6.18am along with Police and Ambulance,” said a spokesperson from the fire station.

“The male casualty was treated at the scene for minor injuries by paramedics after being cut from the cab by fire crews.”
