Police made two arrests after a tip-off from a member of the public whose property was being robbed.
The officers from Newtown responded to a caller from Churchstoke who said unknown males in a white van had stolen items from his house at around noon Saturday.
“Officers conducted an area search and found a white van with the stolen items. The van was recovered due to no driving licence and insurance,” a spokesperson said, adding that items from other thefts were also recovered.
Two men from the Birmingham area were arrested.
