Clearing up “horrific” mess

Revellers have felt the wrath of the Town Clerk this morning after his team spent the best part of Sunday clearing up a “horrific” mess.

The Town Council foots the bill for the street cleaning services and on Sunday the lads were cleaning up one of the worst messes left yet by a collective Saturday night on the town.

“I’m not sure what was happening on Saturday night in town but the mess in the main street to be cleared up on Sunday was horrific,” said Robert Robinson. “There was glass and food all over the place. All cleared up by the lads on Sunday.”
