Next U3A meeting

Members of the public are being invited to attend next week's Welshpool & District U3A meeting to learn more about the group and the work it does.

It will take place on Tuesday at the COWSHACC from 10.30am to noon, with members on hand to chat and there will be a display on the activities that the group has enjoyed.

Everyone is cordially invited with tea and coffee available.

Meanwhile, the July meeting welcomed Sonia St. John who spoke about ‘DNA as a genealogy tool’.

She explained that this was a recent development in genealogy, tracking through bloodlines rather than family history.
