The man accused of murdering Welshpool man Charlie Birch,39, (pictured) will now stand trial on September 19.
The 35-year-old unnamed man had his trial adjourned this morning in Paphos, Cyprus, with him also accused of the attempted murder of another Welshpool man, Will Pritchard, 32, in June when both men were struck by a car being driven by the defendant.
Local media is reporting that the defence has requested more time as several statements and blood test results were not included in the pre-trial evidence, and they were still awaiting CCTV footage and breath test results.
The man has been remanded in custody until the new date.
