The weekend’s racing to raise money for Welsh Hearts has clocked up an impressive £1,923.50.

The event was the latest organised by Border Raceway, which has Gareth and Lisa Evans at the helm, and to date they have raised almost £20,000 for great causes.

Their latest attracted former Wales rugby star Rupert Moon to the Criggion track as well as racers from across the area, and further afield.

“What can I say?” said Gareth. “We have truly had one of our best weekends so far. Was great to see new and old faces out there. We would like to say a massive thank-you to all of our volunteers, as always you were amazing.”

The weekend’s racing was held on land by kind permission of Alan and Sue Lloyd.

Gareth hinted that another event could be held next month.
