Music exhibition in town

It is the Welshpool Music Festival on Saturday and while 33 bands will be bringing the town centre alive, a more refined musical display will be on offer at the Town Hall.

An exhibition charting the history of popular music from the rock’n’roll era of the 1950s through to the Live Aid concert, and more recently will be held in the Corn Exchange on Saturday from 2pm-6pm.

There will also be displays of more local based musicians and bands over the years along with memorabilia.

Admission to the exhibition will be a minimum donation of £2 towards the Lingen Davies Appeal. Tea and coffee will be available.
