Warning for litter louts

A motorist who threw rubbish out of his car at a lay-by near Llanidloes was spotted by Powys County Council personnel who fined him £75.

The incident was reported by the council’s recycling team who saw the man throw the litter out of the car.

They reported on the Powys Recycling Facebook page:  “A local motorist has been fined £75 after we caught them throwing this litter from their car in a layby near Llanidloes, Powys.

“Fine paid and litter removed. Let's hope the message gets out that this is completely unacceptable behaviour," said a Powys spokesman
