Appeal after daylight ‘incident’

Details are very brief, but Welshpool Police would like to hear from anyone that may have seen an ‘incident’ take place just off the town centre on Saturday afternoon.

We don’t know the nature of the incident, but what we have been told is that it occurred at 3pm on Saturday at the Severn Street picnic area next to the canal.

“Anyone with information should contact 101,” said a police statement.
