Big emergency services drill in town tonight

Welshpool Fire Station are holding a multi-agency exercise in the Welshpool area tonight, and are letting residents know in case they are alarmed by increased activity.

There will be plenty of emergency service activity for around two hours from 6pm.

“Exercises like this are important to us as we can keep our skills at the highest level and ready for any incident,” said a spokesperson for the station.
