Trains to stop running during Storm Callum

Train services through Mid Wales will stop tomorrow with Storm Callum threatening to cause havoc.

Arriva Trains Wales has announced there will be no service West or North beyond Newtown after 10am tomorrow (Friday) with an alternative bus service being offered where possible.

Arriva said only very limited replacement buses will be available and advised people not to travel.

No trains will operate between Machynlleth and Newtown after 10:00 until Monday morning.
