School choirs unite for first time

Welshpool’s talented youngsters have been praised by the Welshpool Hospital League of Friends following a stunning performance at their Annual Christmas Concert.

The choirs of Welshpool High School, Ysgol Gymraeg y Trallwng and Welshpool Church in Wales Primary School joined together for the first time to perform for the patients and staff.

With brilliant individual performances by each choir coupled with community carols, the three schools put on a terrific show that will be long remembered. 

A spokesperson for the League of Friends told us: “We are most grateful to the staff and students of the three schools for coming together with so much eagerness to perform. They have been terrific and have brought joy to many with their talents. They are a real credit to their parents and schools.”
