Another power tool theft spree

The area has been struck once again by a spate of thefts that target our hard working tradesmen and women.

The latest spree took place on Thursday night, when a number of locations were hit and thousands of pounds of goods were taken.

A spokesperson at Llanfyllin police alerted on Twitter yesterday: “Multiple thefts of power tools from vehicles overnight in the Llanfyllin, Llansantffraid and Meifod areas. If you saw or heard anything please contact PC223 Clark via 101.”

Only last month, vehicles parked in The Flash were hit by thieves using a special key that enabled access to both a van and a car.
