“Complications” delay Guilsfield road opening

The company behind closing the Guilsfield road yesterday has conceded tonight that “complications” have prevented it from reopening today.

Hafren Dyfrdwy were forced to take action yesterday when the extent of a problem meant the road would need complete closure.

They promised that it would be back open by tonight but the road remains closed.

A spokesperson told us: “There were some complications with the repair, this has all been sorted so we’re waiting for confirmation that everything is OK before we can open the road.”
