Welshpool search for foster parents

Foster parents are desperately needed in the Welshpool area, and an event is being held next week to encourage more people to step forward.

Powys County Council is supporting Foster Care Fortnight from May 13-26 by holding an open day at the town’s Tesco on May 15.

“The regional authority’s Fostering Service is passionate about the difference that foster care makes to the lives of fostered children and young people,” said a spokesperson. “If you think you have the relevant skills and experience, we're calling on you to consider becoming foster carers so that you can also #changeafuture.”
