One-way latest
a) The works to Church Bank were completed on Friday. The works to the other side of Church Bank is to be completed overnight prior to Brook Street returning to two-way traffic.
b) The junction of Salop Road/Mill Lane has re-opened to allow access to Salop Road.
c) Salop Road/Church Street will have night closures from 8pm till 6am for a few weeks.
d) The contractor will complete the works in Brook Street and Jehu Road as soon as they can.
e) On completion of (c) the traffic islands by the NFU to be altered to allow two-way traffic along Brook Street. At this point the right hand turn into Church Street will be permanently closed.
f) Brook Street is to be open to two-way traffic on June 21.
g) The closing of Broad Street for the Transport Festival is arranged for Saturday and Sunday June 22 and 23.
h) The yellow lines in Brook Street close to Dol Y Felin are to be put in place by June 21 or if not there will be police cones along that length to stop parking for visibility.
i) The contractor is to attend the Business Forum on June 17 at 6pm in the Town Hall to meet the traders.
