Bike ablaze after crash

A biker had a lucky escape after he came off his bike which then caught fire.

The incident happened at the entrance to Severn Farm Industrial Estate and it is believed that the motorcycle slipped on the road surface following some light rain and the leaking fuel caught fire.

“Fortunately, there were no major injuries to the rider,” a spokesperson from Welshpool Fire Station said.
