Welshpool ‘jewel’ opens its garden Sunday

One of the jewels in Welshpool's crown opens its doors to the general public this Sunday.

No. 1 Church Bank is a 16th Century house delightfully furnished and with a garden that was seen on S4C television programme People and their Gardens earlier this year.

Owners Mel and Heather Parkes regularly open their home and garden in aid of local charities as well as the National Garden Scheme.

It will open from 12 noon-5pm. entry is £5 to include tea and cakes.
