Four men charged after Guilsfield arrests

Local police believe a criminal gang dealing in stolen goods has been smashed following the arrest of four Lithuanian men last week.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed that the men have all appeared in court following their arrest at rural premises between Welshpool and Guilsfield on July 2.

“Four men were charged and appeared at North Wales Magistrates Court,” a police spokesperson told us. “Egidijius Kerutis, 44, Valdas Andrijaukas, 32, Zilvinas Stanevicius,18 and Paulius Marcinkevius 26, were all charged with conspiring to receive stolen goods (believed to be cars).

“They were remanded in custody to appear at Mold Crown Court on August 2.”
