One-way latest…

Welshpool Town Council has released its latest update on work to the one-way system which is still on target to finish by the end of the month.

·      Jehu Road will re-open on Saturday morning.

·      The traffic lights at the Cross will be manually operated during Friday and Saturday this weekend to aid holiday traffic. If possible the kerblines will be completed to an extent where both lanes of traffic can approach the lights in Church Street.

·      Brook Street and Union Street will be two-way along their entire length by the morning of July 28.

·      There will be more road markings on Church Bank and Brook Street (including the yellow lines at Dolin Y Felin) which might mean some diversions over one night.
