And the winner is... Guilsfield!

Guilsfield is toasting the success of winning a gong at the Montgomeryshire Drama Association Festival Competition for One Act Plays.

 

Pictured are the cast and Producer of Guilsfield's recent production of Lucky Sods by John Godber celebrating their victory with Claire Williams, who played Jean Sod, also winning the trophy for Best Individual Performance.

Producer Sarah Saunders decided to enter the first act into the local drama festival after it was so well received by the recent packed houses in Guilsfield Community Centre.

 

There is now a good chance that Guilsfield will have received sufficient points to allow them to take Lucky Sods to the All Wales Final at Theatre Clwyd in early June.
