Drug dealers and takers: We’re coming for you

Welshpool police have sent another clear message to the town’s drugs community that it won’t be tolerated.

A social media post over the weekend showed officers in full protective gear (pictured) following the raids at three Welshpool properties on Friday.

A quantity of cannabis was seized from each address and three people are being dealt with for drug possession.

The raids follow a recent public meeting in the town where there was an overwhelming call for more to be done to clamp down on drugs, which many fear is spiralling out of control.
