Mayor to officially open street market

Welshpool Mayor Estelle Bleivas will officially mark the return of Welshpool’s Street Market this Bank Holiday Monday.

The street market returned with a couple of stalls two weeks ago and has picked up a few more since and with more promised to be on the way, the Town Council felt Bank Holiday Monday provided the ideal opportunity to officially herald its return to Broad Street.

There is no official ribbon cutting but Mayor Bleivas will conduct a walkabout from 10am.
