Tickets on sale for Poppy bash

Welshpool will remember the fallen with a Festival of Remembrance on Friday, November 8, and tickets are now on sale.

The Town Council and local branch of the Royal British Legion are hosting the event in the Town Hall and it will feature Porthywaen Youth and Training Band as well as the talented Guilsfield Singers.

Advanced tickets are £8 and available from Alexanders, the Town Council Offices and Tourist Information Centre. It will cost £10 to pay on the door.

Doors will open at 7pm for a 7.30pm start with a light supper included in the price.
