Police confirm arrest after arson attack at Forden home

Emergency services have confirmed that a 43-year-old man has been arrested and bailed after a case of arson at a Forden property.

MyWelshpool exclusively revealed that the Monday morning incident was being treated as arson and now Dyfed-Powys Police and Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service have confirmed they are investigating an arson.

A white Ford Transit is believed to have been deliberately set alight outside a property. A garage also caught alight.

The incident was reported to police at around 1.50am on Monday, November 11.

A 43-year-old man from Welshpool was arrested on suspicion of arson on November 11. He has been released on police bail.

Police are still working to identify a second man believed to be involved in the incident and are appealing for anyone who may have seen or heard something to get in touch.
