No water means it's a day off for local kids

Pupils at Welshpool Church In Wales Primary School based at the Howell Drive site have been given a surprise day off today.

An early morning announcement on the school’s website confirmed that staff had arrived to find no water supply to the former Maesydre School site.

The statement also read: The Christmas Service planned for this afternoon will be rescheduled and we will let you know as soon as possible when we have a new date.

“We are in touch with the water company and will also inform parents and carers if this matter is not resolved for tomorrow. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
