It's back to school for Welshpool kids tomorrow

It's back to school as usual for Welshpool children tomorrow after an unexpected day off.

An early morning announcement on the website of Welshpool Church In Wales Primary confirmed that staff had arrived to find no water supply to the former Maesydre School site on Howell Drive meaning it was impossible to open the school.

But the problem has now been fixed and younsters will be back at their desks tomorrow.

The school has also announced that the Gungrog Road site will remain open tomorrow, despite part of the school being used as a polling booth fr the General Election.
