A fan of whisky and vodka?

31/12/2019 @ 09:26

Now in its sixth year, a popular charity whisky and vodka event will be held at Montgomery Town Hall on January 25.

Tickets are selling fast for this well-attended event, and cost £10 to include a haggis, sausage and mash supper, with a vegetarian option available, together with a wide selection of whiskies and vodkas from around the world available for tasting.

Emma Bailey-Beech, who organises the event, which raised over £2,000 for charity last year, said: “We know how busy people are at this time of year, and wouldn’t want people to lose out, as we had to disappoint a number of people last year who had not bought their tickets in time.”

There will be celtic music from Monty Folk with ticket available from Emma on 01686 669971, or from the Bunners in Arthur Street, at £10 in advance (or £12 on the door if any remain).

The funds raised from this event will be split between Montgomery Church in Wales School and Middleton Church.
