Crews tackling blaze at Welshpool business premises

Fire crews from Welshpool, Montgomery, Llanfair and Llanfyllin are tackling a blaze in Welshpool.

People from all across Welshpool have been taking to social media to report flames and smoke rising from the business property at the Newtown end of Welshpool Recreation Playing Fields.

One wrote on Facebook that the flames and smoke could be seen from Leighton and another said the blaze could be seen from miles away.
