The boy who tragically died in Saturday evening’s Welshpool car crash had been celebrating his fifth birthday which was just two days earlier.
Bailey Evans, from Llanwnog, near Caersws, died at the scene of the accident which happened close to Buttington Cross Roundabout at 5.25pm. Three people were taken to hospital.
And as more moving tributes are left at the roadside, mywelshpool has been told that the youngster was enjoying a day out to celebrate his birthday which was May 12.
In addition to the floral tributes, a teddy bear carries the words ‘one in a million’. Several tributes affectionately refer to Bailey as the ‘Little Man’ and one young friend has drawn a picture of the two of them playing football.
Police have stepped up their appeal for witnesses by placing bi-lingual road signs (pictured) at the scene which involved a gold-coloured Citroen Saxo and a Red Nissan Qashqai.
