Police apprehend armed man

 

Mywelshpool has been told of plain clothed police officers “wrestling” with two men on Church Street in the past 20 minutes, one of whom was seen with a handgun.

 

The incident was witnessed by several members of the public who report seeing two men clashing with men they recognised as local police not in uniform. One witness said that she is “100 per cent certain” that one of the men was armed with a handgun.

 

The terrifying ordeal is believed to have taken place around 8pm and the two men were taken away separately in police vehicles.
